  • The Rules of Rebellion #ARC Review

    1. Skinny dip (her idea)
    2. Stargaze (his idea)
    3. Prank someone (her idea)
    4. Go on a date (his idea)

Leo Zimmerman has had a crush on his curvy friend Kylie Jenkins since forever, so when he discovers the girl with a flair for candy making has a newfound plan to rebel against her overbearing parents, he’s determined to be the one to help her carry it out. Who better than himself to show her the ropes of letting loose?
Sure, taking her to her first high school party, helping her sneak out of the house, or watching a sunset together isn’t exactly a hardship, but much harder is masking his feelings the more time they spend together. And when he suggests adding “a first date” to Kylie’s plan and she accepts…suddenly all his dreams seem to be coming true.
But Leo’s got a secret that could change everything between them, and it’s only a matter of time before it comes to the surface.

Each book in the The Rules of Persuasion series is STANDALONE:
    *The Rules of Persuasion
    *The Rules of Rebellion

    Review

That I'm a fan  Crush , this who knows me knows, but now I'm becoming a fan of Amity Hope. In Rules of the Persuasion, I cheered a lot for the main couple and found the plot wonderful and different. In Rules of Rebellion, it was no different, she brought characters so real and sweet that makes me want to enter the book and join the story with them.

Leo is an enchanted prince and has had a crush on Kylie since always, since Kylie is interested in James but does not want to leave her comfort zone and approach the guy, her sister tries to make Leo call Kylie for a date, but she didn’t see how much the guy is interested in her. When Leo discovers a way to get closer to Kylie, he does everything to win the girl. I loved the way he went step by step showing the girl how special she was and slowly she did the same for him.

The book brings the characters from the previous book and others that end up making everything more dynamic.

I liked the familiar approach that the writer gave, even though I did not agree a little with the behavior of the parents of both characters, for me two extremes. Anyway ...

I loved the plot, the point of conflict that almost made me enter the book and give a beating on a certain character that I can not speak for being too spoiler.
I loved the cover so very much and the endding too...
    Another great young adult.

    5/5 stars

    Resenha
